So I'm just learning to use levels... until just recently photoshop was a very confusing tool for me.... don't judge me.
Anyway, levels... I'm not sure about how this all works.
Am I putting too much contrast on this?
Because it is a HUGE change from the original photo.
I think it looks awesome, but it also looks unrealistic, and my camera would never capture anything like that.
I used to be all about making the photo in the camera and that's the end of it.
But now from doing so much darkroom work, I'm learning that there is always some kind of manipulation involved.

Lately I've been really busy with school and work and taking my boyfriend to hockey games and sometimes driving him to school because of the stupid transit strike here in Durham. Ive been keeping up with my assignments so far though, and I'm really happy with how most of them are turning out.
I have a shoot set up with a friend of mine because she needs some head shots.
I'm also doing a bit of photography at the UTSC fashion show in November, which I'm pretty excited about.
It'll be wierd to be back in that school again.... it's funny that I'm getting involved after I leave haha.

So I started my photography program at Ryerson a few weeks ago. It's pretty good so far. We haven't done much yet, but I'm having a lot of fun. This school is much better that UTSC... for non-sociable people like me it is, at least.

I've been shooting a lot of random stuff lately. I have to do a self portrait..... I never have light though!!!! Shit.
I was attempting to do a little street photography. I have to scan my prints... I really wanna put it all together though. It's a series of this one dude waiting for a bus.
